Patch Management
Requirement:
Customer has 100 server running similar services of tomcat/apache/IIS/Websphere/Oracle listener
Before starting the patching on these servers there above common services should be stopped then patching should be started.
After complete patching there will be one reboot and then service should be started in a particular sequence.
I have tried:
I have written a VB script which will do multiple service start and stop, it will find the service name which has apache or tomcat or iis etc. and then stop them one by one
similarly i have written another script for start the services.
Before 5 Min of patching , I am scheduling the vb script trigger.
My VB script i not getting triggering, please help how can I trigger it with KACE 6.3.
Is there any other way to do this procedure before patching.
