I am using the trial version of the K1000 and after downloading patches from KACE; I noticed that 90% of my patches are disabled?

How can I enable the patches that are disabled?

Patches are disabled when there is no active subscription against the OS.

Head over to Security -> Patching -> Subscription Settings and highlight the OSs that you want to patch for.
