I got the updated patch overnight. I still disabled this one until we know more.

Yes looks like they updated the patch for Win 7 overnight, the new one has a release date of 11/12/15. Old one is still there for win 8. I guess it didn't effect win 8.

What does Lumension do for testing? I assume they test for this type of real-world issue but I guess not. This update crashes Powerpoint on most of my Windows 7 Pro 64bit computers when they attempt to open an existing PP file. I push an uninstall kscript, tell them to reboot when they can, PP doesn't crash anymore.
I added this KB to not download to my patch catalog. I think MS will end up re-releasing this patch when it's fixed under the same name but not sure. If that time does come how will I know to allow the patch to come through again?
