Outlook 2007 Pro Plus Fonts changing back to defaults

We are using Windows XP SP3 and Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2007 on 98% of our computers. Also, our default, firm standard Outlook fonts are all Arial 12, black regular. We frequently have the following random issue with HTML sent or reply emails:

When a user replies to an email, regardless of sender or user, sometimes the fonts revert to Outlook's default. We can either manually fix the issue through Tools>Options>Mail Format>Stationary and Fonts or we can modify the registry and have the user login again. Either way, the problem reoccurs after it's fixed, at random.

We have attempted many solutions, but with no success. We originally installed Office with the customization tool and an answer file for all users, so maybe its referring to that in some way. It might be caused by the email that is received and replied to, adopting the fonts of the received email and saving them as the default; maybe it's CSS related. We are also running the Autonomy Filesite and EMM toolbar 85.2001.x add-in for Outlook, so that could also be modifying the HKCU registry hive at the 'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common\MailSettings' level.

Any advice or experience in this issue would be appreciated. We just want to keep the fonts at Arial 12 and reduce calls on this problem. Thanks.

have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your outlook?
