K1000: Once approved, status goes to pending for approval (forever..)

I have created a rule stating once approved, status goes to pending for approval. it is activated on save of the ticket but i found out in this case, i cannot close the ticket because of my poor understanding of the SQL statement, every time i close the ticket, i when back to pending for approval. Can this be triggered only once? Can someone please advice? Thank you very much...
