Office Communicator Hotfix MSP
I deployed LCS Communicator by simply placing the MSI installer on a share and deploying through GPO.
The problem is, I'm trying to apply the June 2007 hotfix which was downloaded as an MSP. I am crazy for thinking that would be easy. I have tried the msiexec /a ADMINSHARE/file.msi /p UPDATE.MSP route and the msiexec /a ADMINSHARE/file.msi /update UPDATE.MSP.
Both of these options seem to only extract a folder inside of the share that has all of the setup files in the way of executables, etc.
I tried to redploy the package and it did it but the version is still 1.0.559 (new version would show 1.0.559.224)
Anyone? Bueller?
