Office 2010 settings migration to Office 2013?

I've build a custom install for Office 2013 to use with our K1000, and it works great, however even though i've selected the box to "migrate user settings" i've noticed that some settings from 2010 don't carry over to 2013. For instance:

1) Email signatures carry over but are not turned on. The user must go to Outlook options to enable.

2) Custom dictionary in 2010 is not in 2013.

3) Custom Shortcut Keys in Word and Outlook have to be set up again.

These are the first items i've run into and beg the question of what i'm unaware of. Is there another migration solution I can leverage?

  • HI This may be worth a try. I'm about to 'upgrade' to Office 2013 PP. We're running that on two other PCs but I've been dragging my feet, for the reasons pointed out, my dictionary etc. I now realise that I had a copy of CloneApp (from mirinsoft.com) saved from last year. I haven’t yet totally figured out how it all works but if it does what they say it does, then I’ll revisit and make a contribution, as I remind my daughter when I make a contribution these applications/orgs etc don’t run on thin air. I’ll get back after the event to report.
