offboarding a K2000 to an NFS server

Hello all,

If I've run out of room on a K2000 appliance is it a practical idea to offload it to a Linux-based (let's say, CentOS-based) NFS server? If so - what are the caveats I need to be aware of?

Thanks.

Boris.

  • Thanks.

All we had to do was set the "no_root_squash" option and that worked like a charm. - borepstein 8 years ago

There should be no issue.

Here you can find the how to for the supported devices:

Only one offboard storage device allowed and supported.
