Novell LDAP Authentication
So here is my problem. We don't have Active Directory we have Novell. Now Ldap is working well. I'm able to browse my server, find accounts all that good stuff. The problem is when it's time to import users KACE says I have to keep "(samaccountname=KBOX_USER)" in my string, but as far as I can tell Novell doesn't have an attribute samaccountname so I end up with 0 records. Has anyone else been successful at connecting your users to novell ldap for authentication? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi bcreasey,
What I would do is use the k1000 or third party LDAP browser and login and check a specific user and see the attribuate they are using on Novell? Could it be (CN=KBOX_USER)?

That was it Luis. Thanks for the tip. I wasn't correlating the field name there like I should have been. It appears to be working now.
