I am trying to establish a test Novidigm environment so that I can understand this product better.

I have cloned an existing server which appears to be working correctly and configured a client. When I start Software Manager on the client I get the following error:

"A problem has occured. Cannot participate in software distribution."

The server logs show that the client is connecting. I am sure this is a subtle problem and I have overlooked something. Has anyone come across this error before? Any ideas on what to try next.
