Network impact of software distritbution using scripts in k1000

Hi guys,

I need to distribute some software using scripts. A simple

managed install will not do....

Would someone please tell me the impact on the network

of distributing software with scripts.

Will all the scripts run at once to all the computers ???

I have about 1000 PC's to distribute to.

I know that managed installs push out software as the

devices check in for inventory......not all at once ???

Is this the same as the scripted install.  I don't want to

crash the network.......

Thanks guys.

they will all get the orders to run the script.  We do classrooms with scripts. The machines are frozen with deepfreeze normally so when you thaw them you do not want to wait for distributions to get to all of them you want it now, a script does this.  There are a couple of settings to prevent flooding the network or bottle necking the kbox
