I need a VBScript to append a character at the end of each line.

Can anyone provide me a script to do it. Thanks in advance.

Can I have an address to send my invoice to first? :) I'm working on the basis that, if searching for what you want is too hard, you're willing to pay for code.

Honestly, you could not count the number of example scripts that you can download which will do this for you.

sMyLine = "some value read from a file"
sChr = "a"
sMyLine = sMyLine & sChr

...and you BOTH missed the crucial part that, reading between the lines, the OP wanted - how to get the line from the file in the first place. And either of you DARE to spoon-feed him/her that, I shall never speak to you again! Jeez, let them do SOME work! Oh, wait...that MUST be what they're doing right now, eh? That's why they've not come back to say "Thanks."
