Need some advice on the best way to deploy Sage Accpac 5.5

I just got a request, to deploy Sage Accpac 5.5 and I was wondering what is the best way to deploy this piece of software?. I checked the Package KB section and didn't see it listed.

Is it possible to snapshot /repackage this software for deployment?, or is there a way to do a silent install?.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

I've done 3 or 4 Sage apps and they were all MSI-based so usual MSI "rules" apply.

Thank you.

I just got the request today, I was very concerned about it, as I never have deployed Sage Accpac 5.5 before only as part of the image. I have another question if you don't mind.

Do you of any issues with running Accpac 5.5 under Windows 7 x64?

I am an Accpac expert. There is no silent installer. Run ..\Programs\Wssetup\Setup.Exe as an administrator, and follow the prompts. Note that the G/L Financial reporter uses an Excel Add-in that is not compatible with 64-bit Office. But a 64-but OS is OK.

Speaking from experience with Sage Account 50, Sage are pretty stupid regarding their install package. Not that sure about Accpac but do you know if it is a installshield install program? If so have you tried creating a response file and using that?
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
