MSP or MST?

Hey Guys,

I need to change a registry key located in HKCU during/after MS Office 2007 install. The current install we use installs all MSPs located in the updates folder of the install dir. I was thinking to get this done I could make an MSP for it and dump it in that folder..

Usually I would use an MST for this, but we initiate the install using the setup.exe and I'm not sure if I could pass a MST through the command line to the main exe.

How would you do it?

Once again, Thanks! You guys always have great information!

The Customisation Tool has a screen for entering custom registry entries. These get written to the MSP created by the tool.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
