MSIE Add-on Manager, change ActiveX component

Hi folks,

I need to figure out a smart way to change an ActiveX component inside Internet Explorer's Add-on Manager.

My specific Problem:
After deployment of IE 6.1, Flash 4.5 is active. Although the previos 6.0 already had Flash 8.

So is there a command line tool to this, that makes it easy to switch ActiveX components?

Or am I heading the wrong way and somebody has a better idea?

Open for all input,
Konstantin

(for the record: Running XP SP2 enu, with several MUIs)

Have you tried removing Flash 4.5 to see if Flash 8 takes control again?

I really look for a cmd line way to modify stuff in the Add-on manager.

Will open a ticket at MS for that, then...
