Software Deployment

Hi,
In my Installer xx.msi, there are some features "aa", "bb", "cc". during the installation all the requied files of the features are getting installed and every thing is working fine.

The problem is.
When xx.msi is already installed on the machine. When I try to run the xx.msi again it opens a maintainance dialog with 3 options Modify, Repair and Remove.
When I select modify and click next, it is not showing the correct status of the features "bb" and "cc". For "aa" it is fine.
For "bb" and "cc" it is howing "Entire feature will be unavailable". It should show the correct Installed status of the features.

During Installation I didn't select the feature "aa". I then rerun the xx.msi and selected the modify option and selected the "aa" feature. Checking after the complete installation, the "aa" feature is not getting installed.
can anyone help me on this.
