MInor upgrade cannot be removed

hi all,
i am testing out minor upgrades. i created a small test app (product version 3.0.0.0). i then created a minor upgrade for that test app.
the only thing i changed was that i added some new registry keys and changed the product version to 3.0.1.0.
i have not messed with components\features or anything like that.
i authored the minor upgrade correctly as it installs properly using the correct command line.

Now, when i go to uninstall it, it says that it uninstalled successfully but it is still on the machine and in ARP.
i attempted to install the original test app but it says there is another version of the app already on the machine.

any help appreciated

Was the productcode changed? how many entries of your app in the ARP?
What was your commandline?
Did you change the ALLUSERS proerty?
Did you change the name of the MSI?

allusers, msi name and product code are the same, they were not changed.
one entry in ARP
the command line used in a bat file was; -
msiexec /x %CD%\FullApp.msi /l*v %CD%\Uninstall1.log /qb!-

%CD%\Uninstall1.logPost this and we'll take a look. Remember to use the CODE tag, accessible by clicking the key marked '<%' in the 'Reply to Message' window.

you never mentioned anything about the package code. this needs to be changed as well
