Mapping LDAP Attributes to Computer Objects like User Objects
I wanted to pull the description attribute from LDAP and map it to my computer devices and if I can have my cake and eat it too have a tab in Inventory > Devices that displays it like a custom inventory field. I currently have LDAP Labels setup in Home > Label Management that pulls via OU and would love to be able to just add a filter to the end of it to also pull the Description as well if it's possible. I have done this for User Objects via Settings > Control Panel > User Authentication.

You might be able to create a custom inventory rule that gets the AD Description with PowerShell:
