Anyone know a way to force IE to be the default browser on desktops. I know there's a way to force it to ask the question of whether you want it to be or not and there's a way to lock it down once it is the default in Active Directory. I want something that will be seemless to the users. Ideas appreciated? Thanks.

The file associations should determine the browser - this is what IE checks on startup. depending on the value of the following key:

"HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Check_Associations"

I probably should have mentioned that we have the Netscape browser currently set as the default on desktops. I need to make IE the default over Netscape.
