We are testing out a M300. We got it setup on the network, but the discovery/agent check in isn't showing up in the inventory.


DNS is working and i am able to telnet from the laptop, that has the agent installed, to the m300.

Firewall is turned off.

Any suggestions?

If you ping the M300's hostname, does it respond with the correct IP address?

Can you open the admin page from that laptop?

Seems to be very dependant on DNS. I had the same issue. Once I manually added record for it to DNS server it all started working. It has to be reachable by hostname.
