last synch

Since a few days ago, several teams are in the console as last synch 3, 4 or 5 days ago. The conputers are on, the agent started. On the net I have 400 teams and 100 occurs approximated.

That can happen?

  • what version is the kbox and the agents. I ran into this after upgrading to 5.5, the 5.4 agents quit communicating properly. - SMal.tmcc 9 years ago
  • I run: 5.5.30275 - Thor.elpoderoso.esp.technical 9 years ago
    • you should apply the consoldiated hot fix and get to version 5.5.90548 on the server and 5.5.30276 for the client. the early 5.5x version had bugs with machines that the fix took care of

My first recommendation would be to review http://www.kace.com/support/resources/kb/solutiondetail?sol=SOL112029

In some cases it's a network issue, in others it's a pending reboot, and there could be other reasons too. One thing worth trying is to see if a forced check-in works: http://www.kace.com/support/resources/kb/article/how-to-force-a-client-check-in-outside-the-normal-run-interval

If that works then at least you know they can communicate. If it doesn't start looking at what might have changed on the network (DNS, VLANs, Gateways, etc)
