K1000: Smart Label for Select kb
I want to create a dynamic label, which selects all security patches with the following criteria
but I dont' known how to dos this in a sql querry ?
I do not know if this is also a good practice to patch some priority operating system like this ?
Impact = Critical
OS = Win 7 SP1 x64
Superseded = No
Status = Active
Category = OS
Vendor Microsoft Corp.
Severity = Critical
Can anyone help me ?

In our KBOX i just use these to get my critical, os, active
OS = Win 7 SP1 x64
Impact = Critical
Category = OS
Status = Active
There is no need for vendor as they shoud all be OS patches and maybe severity but if you are looking for impact critical you should get all the critical severity patches well.
I create different labels for each OS but only use the 4 that i mentioned and just change the OS line for the OS i need. - nshah 10 years ago
