KBOX Integration with AD
Hello All,
I have AD infrastructure in place. I have KBOX 1000 OVF installer avaiable with me.
I wanted to know how KBOX 1000 will be integrated with Active Directory, so that machines from AD will start inventory automatically

You could:
- deploy the agent via GPO
- import and authenticate users from LDAP
- set up smart labels to group machines or users based on LDAP attributes

To elaborate just a bit on Gerald's response - the only "AD Integration" the KBOX can currently do is LDAP user importing.

So, I assume from this post that you cannot use AD ou's to deploy the agent?

After creating a GPO it can be applied to OU's. See the instructions linked earlier for "deploy the agent via GPO."
We use a slightly different method with a startup script pushed to all OU's that detects the presence of the agent and if not found installs the agent.
