KACE script to set asset names equal to another asset field?
I need all assets of a certain type to be renamed to the same thing that each has filled in, in another asset field. So for example I have asset 4, who has a description as "C". I would like the asset to be renamed to "C"

It might be easiest to export the assets, make the name change in Excel and then re-import, being sure to update records and not add new. - chucksteel 10 years ago
