Kace - schedule scripts to run at shutdown

Does anyone know if there's a way to setup scripts to run when users shut their machines down within Kace? We have users complaining about all the scripts and reboots that are run during the day so we were looking for a way to minimize the scripts that they have to deal with.

This sounds crazy but it might work. Using this as a guide,

http://www.itninja.com/question/way-to-deploy-a-xml-file-created-in-task-scheduler

you could try:

1) set the Dell Kace Agent to manual and disabled as the default

Then

2) create shutdown task that would start the service and force check-in (Inventory) then disable agent again

If successful, use the link above to deploy the .xml file to your machines

I would love to hear if this works.
