is KACE replication similar to DFS in Windows server, whats the best scenario to use Replication in K1000?

You can use the replication shares with DFS volumes, no problem.
Replication is used to minimize the network congestion.
You setup a local repository on the remote location, this is all, what replication does. Not more or less.
The client is getting the info that it does get the stuff from the repository and not from the KACE directly
