Kace 1000 Administrator Interface- when I go to Assets- add new license, fill in the information and click on save, I receive no response and hang on the page. Any ideas?

Asset- add new license - save   Page hangs with no response received. I have to close the browser and open it again and login to see if it was completed or not.

  • Is the issue the same on multiple browsers??
    • yes the same on IE and Firefox.
      • Now for the ultimate IT response:
        Have you restarted the kbox and tried again?

        (If you do the save, open a second browser, go to the kbox, does it respond or act like it's still thinking? What does your k1000 LOG say? (That is in settings > log tab))

I had the same problem and an engineer had to do a tether to the K1000 and make a change to the database. The problem was fixed but the license metering doesn't work and I was told that it won't be completely fixed until version 6.0 comes out.
