K2K deployment to VMware Workstation 8.0 Issues

I recently switched from Virtual Box software to VMware Workstation 8.0 and am having deployment issues to virtual machines. Mind you the XP and 7 deployments worked fine to Virtual Box.

1.) I can boot and deploy W7 x86 image to a virtual machine, but it just BSOD's 0x7B .

2.) With a Windows XP Professional VM. I cannot boot fully into KBE, assuming its some kind of driver issue. The CLI windows that pop up state that:

Error: Unable to determine server IP address from DHCP

Warning: Using hardcoded K2000 IP Address as fallback

Error: Unable to mount K2000 Share at \\x.x.x.x\preinst

Thank you for your help!
