Hi all,

Firstly many thanks in advance to anyone who contributes to this thread.

I have been using the KACE appliances for a little while, the potential for the system is wow, just need to do the work to unlock it :-)

I have imported a boat load of drivers into the device "47126" of them, which is slowing down my scripted builds. What I would like to know is how can I "export" the list it has build under Library > Drivers being "Description", "Type", "Hardware ID", ".inf file". If I can get that into a search able document, xls for example it would then enable me to delete the "47126" drivers and quickly build up out of that number just the drivers we need and use.

Again thanks in advance,

Regards

pentopg,

Go to settings>Security and enable offboard access to database.

Use this article to connect excel to your K2000:

http://helpdeskgeek.com/office-tips/excel-to-mysql/

Look in the admin guide for the username password to connect. This will give you read access to the database.

Hi,

For anyone who may wish to do this in the future, after I made the change "Go to settings>Security and enable offboard access to database" I had to manually reboot the appliance.

The area of the database I was trying to target was "IM_BINL_DRIVER_CACHE".

pentopg,

I'm glad that worked for you, forgot to mention that you might need to reboot the k2 for the offboard to work.
