K1000 Submitters ability to close their own ticket

In the K1000, can I configure it so a service ticket can be closed out by the submitter of the ticket when they log in to the web console?  If so where is the settings for this?

  • So sorry to .bump. this, But I am not able to find: "Customize fields and Layouts"

    I Have K1000 V8.


    Right now, my test user was not able to close his own ticket.

    Any way to do this?

    I'm french, sorry for my bad english btw.

    • You can find the link to "Customize fields and Layouts" on the top of the "Queue Details" page. To get to the Queue Details go to the admin interface and click Service Desk > Configuration > Queues > [your queue name] - JasonEgg 5 years ago

Answer Summary:
You should be able to change the permission of the Status field within the queue. You can go under Customize fields and Layouts and change it to something like User Modify.
