K1000 Replication Troubleshooting?

I have a replication share that is failing to update. The share has plenty of capacity. I am able to navigate to the directory via explorer. The K1 lists the share as online. The system is currently in a replication window, but nothing is being moved over.

What could be going wrong here?

A few ideas:

Is the password on the replication share only using alphanumeric characters?

Is the share hidden (i.e. share$)?

Is the replication status just sitting on a file?  I've had mine sit on a large file for a long time and it looked like it was stuck, but it was just trying to copy over a reallly large file.

Do the K1000 logs show replication activity for the machine?

Have you tried deleting the replication share listing for the machine from the K1000 and adding it back in?

Short of that I'd look at debugs as KevinG suggested.

What version of the K1000 SW?

What version of the client agent?

What is the OS of the client machine?

Did you enable debug on the client machine?

Do you have screenshots of the complete replication share configuration page?

  • 5.3 client and server. Replication share hosted on Win Server 2k8 R2. Have not enabled debug. The configuration has not changed and it had been working previously. - muebel 11 years ago
