K1000 patching windows 10 after anniversary update

We want to use our K1000 to override the Microsoft Windows 10 patching.  My understanding is that we cannot use Group Policy to disable Windows update on the Windows 10 machines (post anniversary update), so how do we disable the default patching to allow the k1000 to do the patching?  Is this even recommended?

Thanks!
Ellisha

  • I have the same question. It appears to us that both Windows Update and Kace are trying to install updates and we believe we are seeing bluescreens due to this. Hopefully someone knows something about how to accomplish this. - rswayback5 7 years ago
