k1000 managed installation - cannot see ip addresses in "limit deployument to listed machines"
Hi,
I'm trying to push out an application via my k1000, When I try to select the machines I want to receive the app under the limit deployment to listed machines section I can only see a few ip addresses although there are many more listed on the inventory page.
How do I add other ips?

In the "filter" section start typing your machine name. It will start lowering the count to match what you are typing.

ahah! yes that worked, I take it the popup list is just the most recently used PCs.... It's still asking me to select a software title though. Even if I filter by typing in "fire" it still only shows old versions of firefox, I haven't uploaded the version 20 exe yet! - babaton 10 years ago

I usually install the software on a test machine.
Force an inventory update on the machine.
After the update go under "Installed Programs" and click the link for the newly created software.
Once you are on the Software page for the software browse to the file and upload. - dugullett 10 years ago

I setup a smart label for just one ip address to get around this temporarily, now it's telling me I need to select the software title from the popup window at the top of the screen. However I havn't uploaded this version of firefos yet so it's not in the list.
The documentation leads me to believe that if I tick "Also show software without an Associated File" then it'll upload the new firefox exe, it doesn't seem to do anythnig though, it still akss for me to select the software title from the list.
