K1000 license assets

I am setting up license asset for the first time. I see where you can import a csv file however almost all my licensing information is in pdf format. I want to get the pdf information into the license asset perhaps into the license text box or one of the custom fields but cannot seem to accomplish this in any meaningful format. Any suggestions?

  • The import is mainly for physical assets but could be used for other purposes. As far as licensing, you are creating software assets and attaching them to a License you create in the asset management module.

If you are trying to attach the PDF document to the license asset, you can edit the asset type to include an attachment field. You can also copy pertinent info to a notes field.
