K1000 Inventory: Machine will not inventory

I have a machine in my K1000 inventory that is connected to KACE, but has not had an inventory in over 70 days. When I try to force update it runs and then still says that the inventory is over 70 days old. Agent is up to date. Any ideas?

    • Sometimes kace.com is hard to search. I'd recommend using Google with the site modifier. Something like this for a search term: check in site:kace.com

That link is a good place to start, there could be other things that are happening. Run through that document and take notes of what you find.

If you are still having trouble, post what you find here or open a ticket with KACE support: https://www.kace.com/support/Customer/tech-support - jknox 10 years ago

Chances are that the database file is corrupt. Have a squizz in C:\ProgramData\Dell\KACE and delete the kinventory.db file. We've had this happen on a few student machines here and there and we just do a blanket delete of any which have a checkin date of greater than 20 days now to protect against this.
