Do you currently require custom fields to be input when entering a service desk ticket? We don't support this functionality yet (this is being improved in our upcoming releases) but you can work around it by turning off the custom fields requirement.

Do not support custom fields??? Isn't one of the key features of the service desk is custom fields? I was also surprised that an app was released vs just using a responsive framework
  • Yes we do have some custom fields.
  • Who doesn't? We have three queues all custom. We are also not upgrading to 5.5 for fear it will destroy our kace box. Will wait a bit longer until the bugs get worked out.

Make sure that you have submitter and/or owner permissions to the queue that you are trying to create in.

  • The permissions are set on the queue, admin permissions to everything. That is what's puzzling.
