K1000 A million annoyances with installs
Hi all
So I have for the last two weeks been really struggling with K1000 and trying to get either installs or uninstalls working. While I wont bother you with the uninstalls rant, as it will be populated with mostly four letter words and sobbing.
Installs.
So, here is my problem.
I have the misfortune of trying to get CRM 2016 installed onto 187 machines. However, the install distribution sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, but regardless of the outcome it will show as installed in the distribution and and if you check the machines list of installed applications via kace.
So as you can imagine, this isn't massively helpful.
If you've had similar issues before or would like to see some screenshots please just ask.

You need to check the box for "Don't prepend msiexec.exe" for the custom command line.

But do you have any OS's selected in the box ?
Also try a
runkbot 6 0 {This does managed installs and file syncs]
Check the ProgramData/Dell/KACE Folder for any indications of the file.
Also try check the KAgent logs and do a search of the .exe you're trying to run, there may be some useful information to further troubleshoot the issues
