ISkernel

I have packaged an application called MapInfo Professional 7.0, it has msi's in it but its not using them natively so i broke the rules and snapshot packaged it ( which is prob why i am having this problem but im not 100% sure ).

Now it install's passively fine, i run it as admin its fine and then fine for all other users, but if i install it passively then log out log in with a user who doesnt have admin rights, they run the shortcut the msi calls home and does something i assume populate the registry with some details but it doenst get that far it pops up with the error " 1: Failed to install ISKernel Files Make sure you have the appropriate privelges on this machine"

How do i get around this or stop this? Im still learning the ins and out of admin studio so im not sure where to start looking.

Hi again,

I sorted the issue! Seems the app once installed from the msi package, was calling another msi that i didnt see with in its install files! So i just nested it in the existing msi and works like a charm!

Cheers,
Ry
