We are working on getting our helpdesk up and running and we would like to require new tickets to require the comment field.

Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.


You cannot prevent ticket creation if the comment field is empty but you could use a ticket rule that would detect an empty comment and set the status to a value that represents that the submitter needs to do more work.
