Is it possible to control the content of a relationship field for an asset with KACE?
Hi I'm a complete newb to Kace so please bear with me.
I've created two custom assets "Mobile Device" and "Cell Connection" both have the default "name" field plus some other custom stuff. I want to create an association between a Cell Connection and a Mobile Device.
So in the Mobile Device asset I've created a field called "Connection" and chose "Asset Cell Connection" from the list of field types. That creates the relationship, so far so good.
When I create a new Mobile Device the list of items available to me in the "Connection" drop down are all the available Cell Connection assets identified by their name field, i.e. the values in the name field of the Cell Connections records.
My question is can I control what is presented in the "Connection" drop down or is it always *all* the Cell Connections records and always presented as the value of the child's "name" field?
