Hello everyone,

I'm having issues trying to install an InstallShield application in silent mode utilizing the command swithes

This is the syntax i'm using

E:\media\setup.exe -s

Nothing happens when I launch this.

Can anyone help?

Have you created setup.iss answer file?

I tried and was unsuccessful. This is the syntax i used to try to create the .iss file
E:\media\setup.exe -r

Hi Urban_Diver,

Have you tried setup.exe /? - the newer installshield setup.exe's sometimes run MSI's, so they have options to pass command line parameters to the MSI usually along the lines of "setup.exe /v/qb+" or whatever.

Also, if you can see the MSI file then you can (usually) skip the setup.exe altogether.
