Is there a way to Change and or setup printer for a whole dept through kace. I'm lookin for a way to setup all the printers in one dept when we change printers on the print server.

  • If they are shares from a print server just write a batch file and point to the Printers. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Install+shared+printer+with+batch+file
    Then deploy the script to a label that groups the department.

  • I would also suggest reading up on the files in this folder....%WINDIR%\System32\Printing_Admin_Scripts\en-US\
    Very helpful vbs scripts in there from Microsoft.
