I have a .zip Managed Installation for Office 2016 for Mac. When I push it to a Mac it starts to download the file then seems to give up and the part downloaded file disappears.

I tried it on a Windows 10 machine. The .zip file downloads successfully. 

Has anyone else seen anything like this?

I have had much better luck with uploading my Mac managed installs inside of DMG files.

  • Just tried as a DMG and still the same problem. It starts to download it, but then just stops and the .part file disappears
    • It's possible that the download is getting interrupted. I have seen cases where a client checkin will stop a downloading file. Is it possible that the computer is running an inventory while the file downloads. Does this only happen on one machine or multiple?
      • I don't think that is the issue. I've tried it multiple times and on a different machine with the same outcome
      • I would suggest contacting support in that situation. They will probably ask you to enable debug mode on the client and upload some logs.
