Install MSI separately and install Patch later separately.

you can use WiseScript or you can create separate packages in deployment tool as well.

Can you explain a little more what you want to do. Do you want to create a exe wrapper to install the patch? Why not run the patch directly?

I think the best way would be to create a patched admin install, or to just patch the clients directly with the .msp file.

  • I want to create an exe file using wise script editor?

I tried using the admin install correctly but install in a network. failed. I have used a batch file to install the patch but due to some restrictions it didn't work. - Packaging123 11 years ago
  • How do you deploy your patch with what deployment tool?
I found some information that could help you get started with wise script, but i would try again to run the patch without a wise script wrapper
