"Nothing happened". I think most people would need a little more information than what you have provided so far.

- Did the 'adamsetup.exe' process start and then end prematurely?
- Did it display any error message(s)?
- Have you tried whilst monitoring the system with a process/file/registry monitor?
- Do all the files and folders you list exist on the second machine?

C:\answer.txt
C:\Symantec\
C:\Symantec\Adam Setup\
C:\Symantec\Adam Setup\adamsetup.exe
C:\Symantec\Adam Setup\adaminstall.exe

- Does the account you are using have local administrative privileges?

I just recalled that I installed ADAM on one of my VMs. Looking at it, I can see it requires .Net Framework. I can't be sure which version (and the MS download page doesn't tell you that it needs .Net in the first place!). Does the target machine have .Net F/W installed?

Are you now saying that the install works when run normally but fails if run silently? If that's the case, you need to crack open the MSI and find out which Custom Action(s) are running in the User Interface sequence but not in Execute sequence.

I think that I don't understand you what I must to do.

/answer:C:\answer.txt -> this command reads from file all parameters that need for instalation.
