Include GUI Wizard, including License Agreement?
Hi
I'm sure this is something very simple.
I've repacked Notepad2 into an MSI, which replaces Notepad with Notepad2.

I'd like to include something saying I packaged it, but thaat the software is Florian Balmer's.
Please tell me how to include;
- A GUI Wizard
- A license agreement
Thanks in advance,
Panarchy

You need to add a dialog box (or boxes). The major tool vendors Wise and InstallShield include dialog editors, plus a pre-rolled dialog ready to accept License Agreement text. If you're not using one of those, I really don't know how you get new dialogs into your MSI. Particularly tricky is how they're stored in the Binary table. I guess it would be documented somewhere on MSDN or in the SDK but, TBH, it would be simpler to just use one of the tools.
BTW, how are you replacing Notepad? I hope it's by altering its file associations. It's not a major biggy, but lots of apps load their ReadMe files (and other text files) and so on by explicitly calling NotePad.EXE. Of course, they *shouldn't* but...

If not, how long before I can expect the AppDeploy project to be completed?You don't want much for free, do you?!? Get your employer to spring for a full-blown authoring tool or, if you want to stay cheap, have a look at Wix. If your project is already Wixed, I wouldn't know, as MediaFire and other personal storage sites are blocked by my current client.
