Everything appears to work fine but the comments to not import. If we take the data in the comments and put it into one of the custom fields it comes accross fine. Does anyone have suggestions what to look at.

I would take a look at the SQL regarding the hd_ticket_change. That is where the comments are stored. The KACE appliance has had several updates since the article was created.

I've written a blog in regards to this.  The process DOES work (mostly) but you have to modify the insert into statement on HD_TICKET_CHANGE ticket rule (the first rule you run after your tickets have been turned into assets.)
