Import Trusted Root Certificate to K1000

Hello All

We are trying to setup SSL on our Kbox.
Now we have the PFX generated, and installed, but since this server is internal, we have a trusted root certificate installed on all client machines... this same certificate needs to be installed on the K1000 box too.

Can anyone advise on how to go about doing this? There seems to be no option to import this through the GUI (only option I can see is importing SSL certs, which we've already done)... if there's some sort of command line interface or something to use, it would be great to know.

Many Thanks

Hello,

the trust root certificate installed on every machine makes the machine to trust the certificate that you created and installed on the KACE server.
So I think you do not need to perform further steps.

  • Hello

Yes, we need to install the trusted root certificate on the KBOX so it matches that of the clients trying to access it.

These were the instructions from our CA admins. - Flappers 8 years ago
