Imaging - Office

Hi,

I am currently testing Acronis True Image and I just have a question. (as always)

If you are creating a standard company image for any new computers and applications have individual license information e.g. Office 2003.

Is it possible for when installing the image on a new computer it can be given a new license key?

Otherwise any new computers will have the same license key which I am sure Microsoft would not be happy about?

Thanks in advance

Maybe you can install office without the key on the image then upon first run it will prompt? The other thing you could do is sign the agreement with microsoft and do volume licensing.

As mentioned in my other reply, we image before entering the serial number.
A volume license would solve it, but we find the OEM pricing so much cheaper than volume licensing, that we can't justify the cost.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
