Ignore Open Applications

I am trying to install Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0.9 and I keep getting an error that Internet Explorer is open. I have the option to Cancel, Retry, or Ignore. How can I automatically make it ignore any open Internet Explorer windows? I need to have IE6 open in order for part of our builds to work properly.

Adobe Reader 7.0.5 installs without closing IE6 and I was wondering what is the difference between 7.0.5 and 7.0.9 that would cause the difference in installs?

Since reader can open PDF's in an IE window, IE can hold on to acrord32.exe.

You can try killing the acrord32.exe process before the installation

You can try killing the acrord32.exe process before the installation...or disable the browser integration altogether which, in my experience, most corporate deployments do.
